Now you can conveniently update your Emirates ID details by using HBZ Mobile App by following these simple steps:
Before updating your Emirates ID, please ensure NFC is enabled on your mobile device.
Keep Emirates ID card accessible when you are ready to update details.
Open HBZ Mobile App.
Select "Login" button on the top-right corner of the screen to get to the login screen.
Enter login credentials - Username, Password, Captcha digit followed by tapping on the "Login" button. You can also login through "Touch ID" and "Face ID" biometric security authentication option, if configured.
Go to the Main menu by tapping on the "≡" icon on the top-left corner.
This option will open the card scanning screen to scan the card.
Start scanning the card by placing the mobile right on top of the ID card, as shown in the next step.
Please ensure that card is in contact with the phone for the NFC reader to read the data accurately.
Holding the ID even a few centimeters away might result in a failed reading.
It will take few seconds for the data to be captured.
Hold your ID in place until the app confirms it has read the data. This may take a few seconds.
Review the captured information (ID Number, Name, etc) appearing on the mobile screen.
If the captured data is correct, tap "Submit" button to proceed with the update. If the captured data is incorrect, select "Discard" button and repeat the process from Step 6 onwards.
Once Emirates ID details are updated, Bank will send SMS confirmation to your registered mobile number.
