The Representative Office is the organizational unit of a foreign bank in another country, which is licensed for the purpose of market research, coordination, conducting market surveys and related activities in the country of establishment. It does not carry out direct banking or financial activities.

Functions of HBZ’s Representative Offices are:

• To act as a coordinator for HBZ activities in the country.
• Conduct research and survey for HBZ in the local market.
• Establish the HBZ brand in the banking community and represents HBZ for appropriate public events.
• Liaise with local and foreign contacts in the country to develop relationships with local banks, companies, as well as Government Authorities.
