Mr. Johnny W. K. Mok is currently the Alternate Chief Executive & Head of Financial Institutions of Habib Bank Zurich (HK) Limited, a Restricted License Bank. He was appointed as ACE in Dec 2023.
Johnny has more than 35 years of banking experience. Before joining Habib Bank Zurich (HK) Limited, a Restricted License Bank, he was the Chief Representative of The Standard Bank of South Africa Ltd, Hong Kong Rep Office. Mr. Mok had assumed various senior positions as Head of Financial Institutions Department at the Hong Kong Office of Singaporean, Chinese, European and United States Banks. He was appointed as Alternate Chief Executive in The Bank of New York Mellon Hong Kong Branch in July 2007. Mr. Mok gained solid experience in Trade Finance, previously working at Rabobank, ING Group and Credit Suisse. He started his banking career as a Management Trainee at Bank of China Hong Kong in 1986.
Mr. Mok holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Electronic Business & a Master Degree in Finance at City University of Hong Kong. He graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a BBA Degree.
