Hamza Habib is the Head of Corporate Banking at Habib Bank AG Zurich UAE, a position he has held since 2021. Prior to assuming his current role, Hamza joined Habib Bank Zurich (Hong Kong) Limited, a Restricted Licence Bank, in 2016 as Vice President and Branch Head of its second-largest branch in Hong Kong. During his tenure, he served as Head of Strategy & New Business Initiatives from 2018 to 2021 and was also designated as Alternate ACE from 2020 to 2021.
Previously, Hamza joined Habib Bank AG Zurich UAE in 2011 as Chief Manager and worked in various Corporate Banking roles until 2016. He began his banking career with Standard Chartered Bank, Switzerland, in 2009 as a Credit Analyst and subsequently moved to its UK office as a Client Services Specialist.
In addition, Hamza serves on the Board of Directors of Agriauto Industries Limited, Pakistan, as a Non-Executive Director. The company is engaged in the manufacturing and sale of components for automotive vehicles, motorcycles and agricultural tractors.
Hamza holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Economics from Babson College, USA.
