Position Summary
As a Management Trainee, you will be part of our 24-month, rotation-based programme, which offers a comprehensive and dynamic learning experience across various departments within the Bank. This programme aims to provide you with a deep understanding of our operations, products, and services while developing your leadership and management skills. Successful completion of the programme will open up career advancement opportunities within the Bank.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in rotations across Compliance, Credit Risk Management, Relationship Management, Finance, Financial Institutions, Treasury, and Transactional Banking
- Gain practical experience through on-the-job training and project work
- Assist in market research and analysis to identify emerging opportunities in the banking industry
- Recommend process improvements to drive efficiency and service excellence
- Participate in training/development programmes to enhance knowledge of banking industry
- Enrol in structured learning, including ECF and relevant professional certifications (e.g., GTC, UCP 600, CTFP)
- Engage actively in networking and development initiatives
- Stay informed on regulatory, market, and industry developments to support strategic decision-making
Knowledge & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Operations/Information Management, Psychology, or related disciplines
- CFA/CPA qualification (or candidacy) is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Prior internship or work experience in banking/finance is preferred
- Maximum of 2 years’ work experience
- Permanent resident of Hong Kong or valid Hong Kong work visa
