Muhammad H. Habib was elected to the Board of Directors, and appointed as a member of the Audit Committee, of Habib Bank AG Zurich in 2025. He is also a member of Habib Bank AG Zurich’s General Management and serves as the Group’s President since 1992 and 2011, respectively (he will continue in this capacity till June 2025). Previously, he was the Group’s Joint President since 1996. During his tenures in these roles, Habib Bank AG Zurich expanded its global network to South Africa (1995) and Canada (2001).

Muhammad H. Habib is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Habib Canadian Bank in Canada and Habib Bank Zurich plc in the UK. Moreover, he is a member of the Board of Directors at HBZ Bank Ltd in South Africa and HABIBMETRO in Pakistan.

He studied at College de Leman in Geneva, Switzerland, and earned his degree in Business Administration from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts, USA.
