Our Sirat Wakala Deposits allow you to invest and earn returns on your personal or business savings according to Shariah principles. These Islamic Time Deposits are based on Wakala (agency agreement between Principal and Agent). The Bank acts as an Agent of the customer to accept deposits and make Shariah-compliant investments on their behalf to earn profits.

In line with Islamic principles, we do not pay interest, or receive interest using deposited funds, or any products prohibited by Shariah.

Sirat Wakala Deposit Rates

1 Month	1.50%	You will earn a profit, which is paid at the end of your deposit term. You cannot withdraw any of your balance or close your Sirat Fixed Term Deposit during the account term.	The HBZ Sirat Fixed Term Deposit is an Islamic fixed-term account This is opened for a period of 12 months, 6 months, 3 months or 1 month You can open this account with a minimum GBP 10,000 (For Businesses) and GBP 5,000 (For Personal) You cannot access your money during the account term. You should not place your money in an HBZ Sirat Fixed Term Deposit if you may need to have access to it before the account term ends
3 Month	2.50%
6 Month	3.00%
12 Month	3.25%
