Position Summary
Habib Bank AG Zurich is seeking a skilled Software Engineer – BI Specialist to support PMO and executive reporting through advanced business intelligence solutions. The role focuses on designing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, ensuring accurate MIS reporting, and supporting governance, audit, and decision making for enterprise wide programs.
Responsibilities
- Design & maintain Power BI dashboards for PMO reporting
- Ensure accurate, timely MIS delivery
- Extract, transform & model data from SQL sources
- Build data models, DAX & optimised datasets
- Automate reporting for efficiency & quality
- Track milestones, CRs, KPIs & performance metrics
- Manage CR lifecycle (docs, approvals, tracking)
- Align reports with PMO governance & audit needs
- Prepare dashboards & executive reporting packs
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (4 years) in Software Engineering or Computer Science from a top reputable university, with a minimum CGPA of 3.0
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in BI, reporting, or PMO‑related analytics roles
- Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate, along with relevant Power BI certifications or courses
Skills & Certifications
- MBA / MS in Project Management or MBA (IT) preferred
- ITIL® Foundation certification is a plus
- Hands-on with Power BI, SQL, Excel, Jira & MS Project
- Strong understanding of PMO reporting, KPIs & governance
- Experience in Agile environments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving & documentation skills
- Excellent English communication skills
