Habib Bank AG Zurich Kenya (HBZ Kenya) has secured two major accolades at the 22nd Think Business Annual Bankers Awards 2026, winning Best Bank in Tier III and Best Bank in Product Marketing. The Bank also received individual recognition, with Mohamed Sarim named Outstanding Young Banker of the Year and Asim Basharullah, CEO, HBZ Kenya, named 1st Runner-up for Chief Executive Officer of the Year.
Further recognition came through 1st Runner-up positions in Digital Banking, Corporate Banking and Strategic Consolidation & Capital Efficiency, reflecting HBZ Kenya’s focus on product innovation, operational performance and sustainable growth.
