Position Summary
Habib Bank AG Zurich is seeking experienced Assistant Project Managers to support the delivery of IT programs and projects within the PMO function. The role focuses on ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, while maintaining strong governance, reporting, and stakeholder communication in a banking environment.
Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end IT project & initiative management
- Assist with scope, timelines, budgets & resources
- Track & improve project and portfolio KPIs
- Ensure timely delivery of initiatives per plan
- Prepare weekly status & portfolio reports
- Monitor risks, issues & mitigation actions
- Manage stakeholder & executive communication
- Support task, scheduling & dependency tracking
- Work in Agile & hybrid delivery environments
- Ensure adherence to PMO standards & frameworks
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (4 years) in Software Engineering or Computer Science from a top reputable university, with a minimum CGPA of 3.0
- MS or MBA in Project Management if the bachelor’s degree is not in Software Engineering or Computer Science
- 4–7 years of experience in project coordination or project management roles
- Project Management certification such as PMP, ITIL, CAPM, Prince II, or equivalent
Skills & Certifications
- MBA preferred
- Strong experience with Jira, MS Project, Power BI & Advanced Excel
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders & priorities
- Exposure to Agile project delivery
- Strong analytical, organisational & problem-solving skills
- Excellent written & verbal English communication
- Banking / regulated environment experience is a plus
