Position Summary
Habib Bank AG Zurich is seeking skilled Software Development Engineers in Testing (SDET) to strengthen its Quality Assurance team. The role focuses on building and maintaining robust automated testing frameworks, ensuring high software quality, performance, and reliability for enterprise and banking applications.
Responsibilities
- Build & maintain automated test frameworks & scripts
- Perform automation across web, backend & enterprise apps
- Conduct API testing & UI automation (Selenium)
- Develop & run tests (TestNG, JUnit, Mockito)
- Test Spring Boot apps (functional & integration)
- Execute performance & load testing (JMeter)
- Track, log & resolve defects
- Collaborate with dev, product & DevOps teams
- Support test strategy & QA best practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (4 years) in Software Engineering or Computer Science from a top reputable university, with a minimum CGPA of 3.0
- 0–3 years of experience in software testing or SDET roles
Skills & Certifications
- Master’s in Software Engineering / Computer Science or MBA (IT) preferred
- Strong expertise in test automation frameworks & tools
- Hands-on experience in API & performance testing
- Solid understanding of SDLC & testing methodologies
- Strong analytical, debugging & problem-solving skills
- Experience with enterprise / banking applications is a plus
Experience Required
0–3 years in software testing or SDET roles
