Position Summary
Habib Bank AG Zurich is seeking a skilled Data Warehouse Specialist to design, develop, and support enterprise data warehouse solutions. The role focuses on transforming data into structured, reliable, and analytics ready formats to enable reporting, business intelligence, and data driven decision making across the bank.
Responsibilities
- Design & maintain data warehouse architectures
- Build data models, schemas & ETL processes
- Manage large datasets in MySQL & PostgreSQL
- Ensure data quality, consistency & integrity
- Monitor performance & optimise queries
- Support data refreshes & issue resolution
- Develop reports & dashboards (Power BI)
- Collaborate with data & business teams
- Maintain data flow & technical documentation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (4 years) in Software Engineering, Data Science, or Computer Science from a top reputable university, with a minimum CGPA of 3.0
- 2+ years of handson‑ experience in data warehousing or data engineering roles
Skills & Certifications
- Master’s in Data Science or related field
- Strong expertise in data warehouse design, ETL & data modelling
- Hands-on experience with MySQL & PostgreSQL
- Build BI dashboards & reports using Power BI
- Strong understanding of reporting & data modelling best practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving & communication skills
- Banking / financial services experience is a plus
