Habib Bank sees online success
Dubai. One year after becoming the first bank to introduce both Internet and WAP banking in the
region, Habib Bank AG Zurich reports that 37 per cent of all its business deposits account holders are
using the high-tech service. A statement from the bank has added that 41 per cent of all accounts with
commercial credit are using the combined Internet and WAP service. Reza Habib, joint president of the
bank announced, "We are delighted in the response our customers have made to our HBZweb and HBZwap
facilities. The services are part of our 'AAA' banking - Anytime, Anywhere, Anyhow."
